I thought this book was very imaginative, and it was a good reminder of what might happen if most animals went extinct.

I thought it was really imaginative and fun to read and it also teaches us a lesson - this story could become a reality if we don't stop treating animals as our inferiors but our equals. In fact they were here before us. I really liked this book and would recommend it to anyone who has a good imagination and likes animals. This story is about 12 yr old Kester Janyes who can't speak to humans but can communicate with animals. And it is all going swimmingly until he discovers a whole army of animals who HATE humans. Oh dear. And then...you'll have to read it to find out what happens next.

It gets you very locked in to the book. The only thing that lets it down is that it could be more exciting at one point.

Another fantastic book following on from The Last Wild. This book is much darker than the first, set in a dying city run by greedy selfish adults and an uprising of dangerous animals. Each chapter ends on a cliff hanger and leaves you wanting to read more.

an amazing story of animals working together. The last wild is the first book in the series and I also loved that one too. I would recommend reading the books in order as they follow on. Both are utterly brilliant books.

The Dark wild written by Piers Torday is mainly about a wildness who is called Keser who has is wild but then he is trying to stop facto with hi friends and is trying to defeat the underneath, lead by Dagger the dog. This book is Fiction and I like the mouse the best she holds the Iris which everybody wants but mouse is risking her life to help Kester. This book interested me by the cover. I would recommend this to any animal lovers.

This book was even better than the first in the series because there were more characters and the boy developed his relationships much more with them.

I like this book because it is about a boy who can talk to animals and he is trying to save animals from this disease. His best friend has a thing that can change everything. So she runs away from his family, and he tries to go and find her. But then he meets these people who live in a rubbish dump. There was a train track. Trains go along that carry formula that stops the disease. My favourite person is Polly, his best friend. I recommend this book to older people because some of the animals want people to die, so you need to be 8 and up, because little kids might get nightmares.
