I really enjoyed reading this book. It’s very exciting and I liked all of the main characters. I think other children would like this book as well.

Max Lia and mum went to a lost lagoon and ended up fighting off an orca . I really liked the Orca because he looked very cool. I would recommend this book to a friend.

This book was great because it is really nerve-wracking but amazing. My favourite character is Max, who is an Aquoran, which is like a human, but he has had the Merryn Touch which gives him gills so he can breathe underwater. Rekkar is a robotically controlled robo-beast who is actually a living creature but has been controlled mechanically. She makes Max's ears bleed because of the ear-splitting sounds that she can make with the robotics. Max and his friends are trapped in and trying to escape from the Lost Lagoon, and Rekkar is an obstacle in their way, but who is eventually freed of the mechanics by Max and his friends. I would recommend this to people who like adventure books.

It was a really good book. What I liked about it was how Rekkar screamed so loud, it knocked Max out.

I thought Max wasn't going to defeat Rekka but he managed in the end. It was really hard for him to do. My favourite character is definitely Max. I don't think I would like to meet Rekka, but I would at the end when he is friendly.
