Amelia seems such a shy girl and I understood how she felt around dogs because I am scared of dogs too. I like wolves a bit though so I simply adore Frost! Noah is my favourite character.

It was such a nice book about a girl and a boy, a baby wolf it was very interesting and nice to read it and there was a dog in this book, it was a good book, good pictures of the characters in the book especially the wolf and loved it so much. I would recommend someone else reading this book because it is a nice book and it has a nice story line, you can really get into this book

This is a good book (like all Holly Webb books are.) about a girl who reads a diary about a boy who needs help to look after a lost wolf pup. Then she gets transported into his world and helps him save the cute wolf pup called Frost.

Amelia goes to stay at her families for Christmas but they have a dog. Amelia goes upstairs and finds an old coat with a diary in it then she has the weirdest dream. My favourite character is Frost because he is brave. I would recommend this book to people who like winter adventure books.

I like The Winter Wolf because : It is a girl called Amelia spending Christmas with her cousins, and the sister Bella too. She the smallest in the family, which she was used to. Her cousins have a big dog called Freddie, who Amelia is afraid of, after a dog in the park knocked her over in a park. Amelia avoids Tom and Freddie, for a few days, when one while she tries to run away from them, runs into a small hatch going up dusty stairs, that lead to the attic. Amelia looks around and peeks in a trunk, tries on a jacket, her size, then finds a diary, and reads it. The next day, it's snowing, and she again reads the diary, and leaves Bella and her cousins sledging out side. Soon she falls asleep and she wakes up in the diary, in the warm stable. She meets Noah, the person who wrote the diary, and who owned the house, and the person who drew a painting that was in the house. The diary talks about a lost wolf pup, and that a family called the Wrights, find his mother, and shoot her, she recovers, but can't find the pup. The Wrights want to shoot her for wolfskin, and Noah and Amelia have to stop them, and get the wolf pup back. Amelia is frighted at first, but soon loves the pup, and helps Noah to find his mother, and keep them safe. When the Wrights search for the mother's tracks, (after she and Noah reunited the mother and the pup) Amelia bravely throws a snowball at Samsom Wrights, while Joshua Wright complains more about his hurting ankle, and they finally give up shooting for wolfskin, as they haven't found a single track. Noah misses Amelia, when she finally goes away, back to the present time, where she awakes to Freddie on an armchair from the attic. She is given a christmas present from her Mum back at the lounge, and when she opens it, she finds a picture of Noah's little sister, Grace (who died when she was seven or six after a bad cough) hugging the little wolf cub.
