This a book I would recommend to many. This is a really interesting story about Pete and his faithful companion.

I wasn’t very keen on it because it said five a side vampires on it but there were only a few pages about vampires. The whole book isn’t about them, but it’s also got other stories inside it.

The story is about a football match between vampires and human beings.The humans won against the vampires! I could not understand many of the words used in the and hence could not enjoy the book. However, the part describing the foot ball match was nice. Those of my friends who love football may like to read this book.

This story is about a boy called Pete and a dog called Blob who have various adventures in the night. In the first story they meet some Vampires and start playing football with them. During the matches Blob kept on bringing the ball back to the middle. Later on Pete's dad joined in and Blob helped them to win because Vampires don't like dogs. In the second story Blob turns into a werewolf and converts Pete into a werewolf too.They have fun scaring animals and howling.Then they go back to sleep and turn into humans. In the third story Pete met a Bwca. The Bwca does all the good deeds,but on a full moon can get up to a lot of mischief. The Bwca helped Pete scare Billy Beggs in the night. He also helped Pete to to recover the balls from the teacher, Mrs Walters. In the fourth story they came across a herd of Hell hounds which were causing a lot of noise and trouble. Pete painted Blob black to camouflage him as the leader of Hell hounds. After that the original leader ran away. Finally, Blob led them the top of the mountain and then were never to be seen again. Next, Pete his father and Blob went for a fancy dress night. Pete dressed up as a Zombie, Dad as a space hopping astronaut and Blob as a Hell hound. They met various different characters there including aliens, werewolf, Mrs Clinton, Lady Gaga, Dolly Parton etc. They also came across the real leader of Hell hounds, who was not happy with Blob. Pete convinced him to participate in the shoe to win a prize and receive a crown. All had good fun.

I liked this book this book is quit mysterious. The main characters are Pete and I little basset hound Blob.he goes out on adventures and meets weird creatures. I would rcommend this book
