A dangerously funny new series for boys and girls age 7-9 from bestselling author Kjartan Poskitt, illustrations by the one and only Philip Reeve.

Borgon the Axeboy is the last barbarian in the Lost Desert and he’s on a mission to track down the MOST DANGEROUS breakfast ever! He sets out to find the scariest dragon on the plains, but his annoying neighbour insists on tagging along. Grizzy is a little savage and far too nosey for her own good! But their adventure turns to peril when breakfast draws near. They’ll have to learn to get along if they’re ever going to survive . . .

This series is set to have you rolling in the desert with laughter.

I thought it was very cool If it was fiction I want borgon to be real because he is funny the thing that interested me was he was almost eaten by a dragon for breakfast I would recommend it to a friend

I thought it was very funny and I liked it. It sounded really dangerous at first but it wasn't in the end. I would definitely recommend it.

This book is a fiction book. My favourite characters were Fulgut and Fulma.I liked them because they were the most scariest savages ever. My favourite part was when Borgon chopped off a dragon's tail. I would recommend it to someone else because the author used lots of information in the book.

This book was a cliff hanger,my favourite character is borgon because he does what he's been not to do and I would thoroughly recommend this book to people who like adventure books

I found this quite a short book and fairly easy to read compared to the others I have read. There was a savage barbarian called Borgon who wanted to make the best breakfast ever for his mum but it was actually just toast cooked by dragon fire. Grizzy followed Borgon around everywhere.
