I thought I would hate this book and I thought it would be girly but my mum made me read it and the deeper I fell into the world of Cerulea I love the books.

This book and the rest of the books in this series are amazing! They are action-packed and full of adventure. There are lots of plot twists that are very exciting. Once you start reading this book, you can't put it down. I would recommend this to children 11+, because some scenes are a very scary for younger children.

This book is based in the sea. It is about a mermaid princess of Miromara, a sea realm, whose name is Serafina. On the day of her betrothal, the city is taken over by assassins. With her friend Princess Neela, she must find some river witches to save the sea. Would recommend to 10 and over.

The main character of this story is Serafina (or Sera) . She is a princess of a mermaid realm (Miromara) and her best friend is Neela, princess of Matali. When it is her coronation, assassins invade her realm and she and Neela must search for 4 other mermaid heroes. I LOVED this book, and I hope you do too!!!
