The sixth hilarious title in the award-winning, laugh-out-loud series, The World of Norm. Perfect for fans of Tom Gates and Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Norm knew it was going to be one of those days when he woke up and found himself in 18th century France…

If only he hadn’t fallen asleep in History! And if only he’d done his punishment exercise! And if only he could go biking instead of playing stupid football! Except Norm can’t go biking. Why not? BECAUSE HIS BIKE’S BEEN STOLEN, THAT’S WHY! Nightmare? It’s worse than that… IT’S AN ABSO-FLIPPING-LUTE DISASTER!

With brilliantly funny illustrations throughout from Donough O’Malley.

Praise for Jonathan Meres:

It was ok. There was a lot of repeated words but the story was funny and intriguing.

I liked Chealsea because I think that she isn't really annoying but Norm did something really bad to her because she seemed vengeful to me. The fact that she and Norm's brothers get along makes me feel like they are working to get revenge on Norm and they a successful so far.

Following a cycling disaster involving his best friend, a garage and a tea-set, Norm should have given the £100 reparation to his mother, but somehow it gets forgotten so that he can repair his bike. The norm life cycle is comprised of three linked stages: emergence, cascade, and internalization (1998, 896-901). Finnemore and Sikkink begin by positing a catalytic role for norm entrepreneurs in fostering norm emergence

Part of The World of Norm series. Again, I would recommend that you read these books in order, this is book number 6. Very similar to Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Funny and easy to read.

I think this book is very funny. My favourite character is Norm because he loves his bike and I like his reaction to losing it, because anyone else would just buy a new one, but his reaction was different. I would recommend this book to someone else because it is very funny.

It is a very funny book about Norm and his best friend trying to find Norm's lost bike. They have many ups and downs but in the end they do find the culprit.

I think that is a good book. It was quite confusing though because things kept changing really quickly. I thought it was funny and Norm’s best friend is my favourite character because he is very funny. I recommend this book to someone else.

This book really shows how some people really hate certain things. it shows how obsessed people can get over something. I really thought this book was funny. Norm was hilarious.

This was a funny book about Norm, a child who wants to become a famous World Champion Mountain Biker, but unfortunately, one day when he comes home from school, he finds his bike has been stolen! Can he find his bike again? My favourite character is Connor Wright as he is quite mysterious and has a few secrets. His personality is very angry and annoying, but at the end, he is kind and caring. I would recommend this book to 10-11 year olds as it is quite formal, has larger and more sophisticated words. Very interesting book.
