A gripping adventure story from Bear Grylls, packed with real survival details and dangers at every turn!

When Beck Granger is ship-wrecked in the open seas, he needs all of his survival skills to save a small group of passengers.

But the sinking was no accident. In order to stay alive, he’ll have to work out who wants him dead, and why.

That is, if the sharks don’t get him first . . .

This was a fun book. There are lots of sharks in the book and sinking boats so it was very exciting. I would recommend this book for 9-12 year olds

This was one of the best books I've read in ages! At one point, I thought it was the end around halfway through, but no, that was just an island! I would definitely recommend this to somebody else!

This book is set mainly in the Caribbean Sea. Beck Granger is a young mission survival expert. His parents (David and Melanie) died several years before this book. Their light plane crashed in the jungle. David and Melanie Grangers's bodies were never found and the cause of the crash remains unknown. Beck's uncle (Sir Alan Granger) had a friend who offers Beck a Caribbean Cruise but when the ship malfunctions and sinks then Beck has to do everything he can to help the small crew survive. Then Beck's uncle's friend is murdered and everything gets worse. I found it similar to the Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz and really enjoyed the book.

if you are bored of the summer holidays already than this book is meant for you. the settings ranging from a cruse boat to a dessert island. beck granger is supposed to be telling people about survival but when disaster strikes he will be doing a lot more than telling them about it.
