This is the most recent hamster book I've read and it is a good pirate story. I found it absolutely hilarious when I found out that Algernon Pickles got killed in a broccoli-related incident. What I like about the story was when Ben was a witness at the museum where there was a crime. What I didn't like about the book was when Larry Skinner threatened to kill Ben.

I liked that he had to wear a bear outfit for his sister's birthday and had to wear a nappy. I liked when they fought Larry Skinners in their pirate costumes.

She picked this book as she liked "My hamster is a detective" book and thought this would be very interesting book as well. It did not disappoint her and she did not want to stop reading it and read the whole book in 2 days! Highly recommend this book.

It was fiction. My favourite character was the hamster called Stinky! My favourite part of the book was when they found lots of diamonds. It was very interesting because normally hamsters aren't called stinky. I really enjoyed this book.
