A novel of heart and courage inspired by the incredible story of a real-life princess and the foal she loves.

Princess Haya, daughter of the King of Jordan, loves her family more than anything. So when tragedy strikes at its heart, she is devastated. The Princess becomes ever more withdrawn until, on her birthday, the King gives her a life-changing present. An incredible new friendship grows and the heartbroken princess begins to dream of an extraordinary future. Inspired by the real-life story of Olympic equestrienne Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein and set against the exotic backdrop of Arabia, this novel is destined to become a modern classic.

A heartwarming story about a princess/ naturally talented horse rider dealing with grief for her mother, the queen, and her bravery while looking after her filly, Bree. It is also about her life at boarding school in England, where she is foreign and feels alone. And, the best thing about it is that this is a true story based on the youth of the real princess of Jordan. I highly recommend this book!

this book was AMAZING it is the best book I have ever read! It was based on a true story and my favourite character is princess Haya because she loves riding and she never gives up when something is wrong and she was the first ever girl to ride in the kings cup and she was only twelve. I would recommend this book to anyone but especially people who love horse riding like me!

It was harsh for me, the main character was called Haya. Her mother was struck by lightning when she was in a helicopter. I would recommend this book to my friends.

I found this book to be good. The main character was a girl called, Haya, she is a Princess. It was a bit harsh due to the death of her mother, the queen and her horse dies too. The horse was called Ameina. I loved this book because was brave. She became to the first female to ride in the Kings Cup. I would recommend this book to my friends, especially horse lovers.

The correct amount of pages and I really liked how it says “most girls wish to be princesses but this one wanted to only have a horse of her own”. I would recommend it to somebody about my age that liked horses.

In this book it is about a girl on her 6th birthday gets a foal but has to really look after it and train it but her dream is to go into the kings grand cup but she gets really impatient and wants it to come to that day and it finally comes...

I really loved this book because something was always happening and she showed that princesses aren't always posh. Haya, the princesses has a foal that she rasises and turns into a brilliant horse. She lives in Arabia, though moves into a school in England.
