At last something laugh-out-loud funny for girls in this hilarious new series from TV and radio comedy writing talent Nigel Smith.

The Most Embarrassing Dad in the World was embarrassing Nathalia even before she was born. He went and married Mum, didn’t he? Mum’s last name was De Montfort. Thanks to Dad she wasn’t Nathalia De Montfort. She was Nathalia Bumole. “It’s pronounced Bew-mow–lay,” Dad would tell her patiently, time and again. “If anyone says differently, the joke’s on them.” But as Nathalia knows only too well, the joke will not be on them. It will be on her. Massively. If Nathalia can just keep The Most Embarrassing Dad In The World away from her new school, then maybe he won’t ruin everything this time. Maybe.

I have read this book

It was exciting and had loads of comedy. I thought the Dad was a great big 'idiot' not my word, the book's word! There were load of dramatic scenes between Nathalia and her Dad that had me in stitches. And, of course, Nathalia was obviously my best character of the book. Would definitely recommend this book. I look forward to reading the next book.

when Nathalie buttface started at a new school, all she wanted to be was normal. that definitely didn't go to plan!

Personally, I have found this book a bit confusing in places. For example;one minute they’re in the car, the next, they’re stuck in a tree?(with news helicopters). Also, the girl didn’t even realise that her dad was wearing a clown costume. You get it?It was just a bit confusing. Other than that, it was quite a good book

I thought it was a really funny book and would love to read more of this series. I think anyone who loves comical fiction would like this book. my favourite character was Nathalia (Nat).
