From the bestselling author of Dirty Bertie.

Stan Button had always dreamed of becoming a superhero. Then one day a letter arrives inviting him for an interview at the mysterious Mighty High School. To his amazement, Stan is offered a place – starting immediately. His superpower is ‘non-conventional’, as are those of his two new best friends, but lessons in supervillain-spotting and tight-wearing mean they are soon ready to defeat the evil Green Meanie… who might just be none other than Professor Von Hardbum, a teacher at their school.

Each adventure will be heavily illustrated throughout with fantastic art by Nigel Baines, for truly brilliant comic-book style fun.

I really enjoyed this book. The main character was Stan and he goes to superhero school and meets Miles and Minnie and a dog called Pudding. It’s exciting with some very funny bits.

I didn't really like this book because it didn't really have good superheros in it. What I mean by that, is that I didn't like any of the superhero names or super hero powers. One of the Superhero team names was 'Manchester Originals', who are a cricket team for the Hundred. One of the Superhero powers was your ears knowing the future. I don't really like those things. Anyone who likes weird superpowers or really bad plots should read this book.

I thought this book was amazing since it was full of surprises. From giant flies to tiny super villains this book was packed with many scenes going all at once. My favourite character in this book was Stan as (he without knowing) was going to become the world's most renowned super hero in the world.
