A World Without Princes (The School for Good and Evil, Book 2)
Soman Chainani
THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL is now a major motion picture from Netflix, starring Academy Award winner Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, Laurence Fishburne, Michelle Yeoh, Cate Blanchett, and many more! It’s all happy ever after at the School for Good and Evil…or is it? The second title in the bestselling series. After saving themselves and their fellow students from a life pitched against one another, Sophie and Agatha are back home again, living out their Happily Ever After. But life isn't quite the fairytale they expected… Witches and princesses reside at the School for Girls, where they've been inspired to live a life without princes, while Tedros and the boys are camping in Evil's old towers. A war is brewing between the schools, but can Agatha and Sophie restore the peace? Can Sophie stay good with Tedros on the hunt? And whose heart does Agatha's belong to – her best friend or her prince?
Reviews

This book is about two girls called Sophie and Agatha who go to a school in the woods beyond, where there has been a Great War between good and evil sides, and the schools have turned into boys and girls, and both hate each other. Meanwhile, Sophie tries to stop Agatha from falling in love with her prince, things take a bad turn when Dean Sader falls into their fairy tales and changes them all up… My favourite character in this book is the prince, Tedros who sacrificed his life for Agatha (his princess) by letting himself get chopped by the sword instead of her. I would recommend this book to people who like fantasy because this book has a lot of magical creatures in it like fairies, wolves and nymphs. Three words to describe this book are eventful, dramatic and a bit romantic.

I liked Agatha, a princess from the School of Good. Agatha and her best friend Sophia. Sophia and Agatha were happy together far away from the schools but then Agatha made a wish which made the school turn into a school for girls and boys. the whole boy from that boy's school hated Sophia and Agatha. but in the end, Sophia was with the evil schoolmaster and Agatha with her prince and the school turned back into good and evil.

It was definitely my favourite out of the first one and second. I love how it ends on a cliffhanger, I really want to know what happens to Sophie! I feel like I really get to know the characters more, especially Tedros. I can’t wait to start reading the next book!

Just a brilliant book

It was a good book but it definitely wasn’t as good as the first one. The first book eased in to the action whereas this was action from the start which made it harder to follow. I did enjoy the part where the trial was happening as it was exciting and I didn’t know what was going to happen next, who would win: boys or girls. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy a story packed with action.

It was great because it had danger, romance and magical adventures packed inside it. There were also those funny parts that gives you the giggles inside. I loved it!!! I think I like Agatha the best because she is ready for everything and isn’t vain. I would recommend it to 11+ as it is a bit scary and sad at parts.
