Emily Feather is an ordinary girl in an extraordinary family of fairies.
When Emily finds out her adopted mother is pregnant, she
can’t help feeling upset. This means there will be another brother
or sister who will actually belong, unlike her. They will also
be a fairy and have magical powers. Then her brother, Robin, takes
Emily through one of the enchanted doors to show her a magical
alternative life, that might have been had Emily not become part
of their family.

Spoiler alert! In my opinion this is not a really good book because nothing really happened until chapter 7 when a fairy had a baby.

It was a good book but quite confusing at times and is for 6-9 years.

This was a really good book! I like the descriptions in this book that can make you feel like you really know the characters. I also like how it really captures family life and siblings. I like the hint of magic in it too. Would recommend!

I liked that there was magic in the book. Emily was kind and helpful. I liked the bit most when everyone was with Wren, the new baby. I would recommend the book to my friends.

I think this book is outstanding because it talks about family and sometimes when you feel different it doesn't mean you are not loved. I also think this book is a bit weird but in a good way because Emily's family is so different to all the other family's. My favourite character is Emily because she is so different to her family that have powers but she still is powerful in her own way and she is curious to. I would recommend it to someone else because it is a breath-taking book and it makes you want to read the next chapter.

If you like challenging books I would recommend it to you because it is a very hard story line to understand.
