I didn't think it was very well written, because on every page there was a spelling or punctuation mistake, but I really liked the story other than that.

I read this book when I was younger but I didn’t understand it but I’ve just read it again and I loved it!! It’s about a 11 year old girl called Edie who is sent to a boarding school to spy on a girl called Anastasia because her belongings are being stolen. There are so many suspects! Edie must pull all her strength together to find the criminal. I liked Miss fortheringale, Edie and Anastasia because they were all such lovely people. I would recommend this book for 11+ and for people who love mysteries and friendship.

This book is great for those who like a reality book with a twist. It is about a girl who is sent to spy on a princess in a boarding school. It has heart-stopping moments, but is full of fun as well. The Glass Bird Girl in three words:friendship, courage, adventure.

This classic girls boarding school mystery is exactly as title suggests - for girls. I believe that this novel is aimed at children of the age of around 10 - 12 years old. It tells the story of a twelve year old Edie who lives with a mix of her Granny and her Auntie, when she's sent to an old fashioned boarding school she meets an extraordinary girl and a bond is made. I encourage you to read this fascinating book to find out how it ends for yourself!
