My name is not actually Penny Dreadful. It is Penelope Jones. The ‘Dreadful’ bit is my dad’s JOKE. But I am definitely not dreadful… it’s just sometimes people don’t appreciate the brilliance of my ideas! I mean, it was a BRILLIANT IDEA to hunt a VAMPIRE and Cosmo said Mr. Bentley-Bucket was only pretending to be human. Also Grandma Overall who does not see the BRIGHT SIDE needed cheering up, so I don’t know why she didn’t like her super-sparkly MAKEOVER. And the water spraying all over the kitchen was completely worth it because I ended up being a Record Breaker! Three fantastically funny Penny Dreadful adventures in one fab book! It has 3 stories in 1 book. My favourite was ghe record breaker story. My least was Penny looks on the bright side

I loved this book because it was fun and exciting. I didn't know what was going to happen next and I was excited to find out. I liked Penny best she was funny, good and kind like when she saved Bridget Grimes from falling over, but she was also naughty.

I think is a five star book because it is really funny and I like the part where she puts loads of disgusting ingredients in the smoothies!

Funny fiction book. Daisy is mean. Cosmo is nice and funny. Sunflower (actually called Barbra and Cosmo's mum) is odd!

Penny Dreadful is a great book. It's all about a girl called penny when she has a assembly one day then after that assembly she wants to be a record breaker.Also she's quite mischievous and sometimes funny.

This book is fiction.I liked Penelope Jones because she always wears a pillow on her head.It interested me because it is funny when someone comes to her school and the man puts plates on long sticks.I would recommend this book to someone because her dad hammered himself instead of the shed.

This is the first book I've read in this series and loved it. I like it because it's split into 3 stories and my favourite one was the third one (is a record breaker). I think you should this because she makes me giggle and she thinks she's going to do something but she isn't.
