I have been reading this series for a long time now, and I think that this book stands out from the rest. I has a good story line, and even better characterisation. It took me a while to read, and usually, I'd put it down and have a break half way through, but it hooked me and I had to keep reading. Overall, it was a brilliant book, and explained the story of the main character well.

Brokenkit was sweet as a kit must admitt that. Raggedstar's death was sadder than I was expecting.I really really really despised the ending, though.

I really enjoyed this book, and I like it that it carries on into one of the series books, Warrior cats: Into the wild.
