Julian, Dick, Anne, George and Timmy the dog find excitement and adventure wherever they go in Enid Blyton's most popular series. After the Five see a boy being kidnapped at the beach, they set out to find him. But where have the kidnappers hidden the boy? Will Timmy lead them to the answer? In addition to the Famous Five novels, Enid Blyton wrote a clutch of short stories based on the characters. These were published in magazines and collected in the Famous Five Short Story Collection (Hodder). For the first time, the complete and original text of Good Old Timmy (1956) appears in an individual volume, illustrated with brand new colour art by Jamie Littler.

It is a nice mystery book and has loads of fun in it. They are a bit less detailed than the normal ones though.

It was a good adventure but it didn't explain why the boy was kidnapped.

Good old Timmy is an adventure book (which is fiction) and is a shorter version of the famous five books. My favourite character is Timmy as he saves the day. A boy has been kidnapped while the five were on the beach. Will the four and Timmy be able to save him? It's a good book and I would recommend it.

I thought it was fun to read because the story was very exciting. I would recommend for young children that are just starting to read chapter books.

When they said "I feel funny here in the tree" that was funny when the dog was at the bottom.
