In this book, Obelix is in love with Panacea but she is engaged to a conscript, Tragicomix, in the Roman Army, who didn't want to join the Army. Asterix and Obelix rescue Tragicomix from North Africa and bring him back to Panacea. They both then get married.

Asterix and Obalix pretend to be legionaries in the roman army to rescue there (annoying) friend/bard who sings so badly lions ran away from him. P.S. He doesn't think he's bad at singing.

In the series of these books, my two favourite characters are Obelix and Dogmatix . I like them because they are both very funny and good friends.

I liked Tragicomix and Nefarious Purpus! They had funny names. Oblix became a Roman and said “we Romans are crazy”.

Very funny book of a fat man called Obelix helping a girl called Panacea which she has lost her best boyfriend. She has lost her because her boyfriend was forced to join the Roman army. Will Obelix free Panacea’s boyfriend from deer a Roman army? I would immediately recommend to speak to someone else.

what I thought only has one word this book was...amazing. soooo fictional and of course I liked cacofonix the bard happy I am not there to hear it because If Asterix and Obelix cannot handle it this will be super super annoying. and I would really really really like to recommend it to other people I don't care who you recommend it to I also recommend all the other Asterix books cause it is family fun reading it

I read these books as I like comics. There aren't any chapters. You can play a prank on your parents and say I'll just read to the end of the chapter and then you get to read to the end of the comic book.

This book was really funny because there were lots of people speaking different languages and the interpreter made several mistakes. The Egyptian kept uttering rude hieroglyphs, "There she goes, a big hairy nose". I recommend it!

it was really funny because Asterix and Obelix signed up as Roman Legionaries and they were much better at being legionaries than the centurion.
