One little ancient British village still holds out against the Roman invaders. Asterix and Obelix are invited to help. They must face fog, rain, warm beer and boiled boar with mint sauce, but they soon have Governor Encyclopaedicus Britannicus’s Romans declining and falling. Until a wild race for a barrel of magic potion lands them in the drink. It’s not quite cricket – how about a nice cup of hot water, though? Or even the first ever tea-party?

Asterix and Obelix are invited to help Asterix's cousin who lives in a small village in Britain as they are being attacked by the Romans. They face fog, rain, warm beer and boiled boar with mint sauce! Before they left, Getafix the Druid, gave them a barrel of magic potion, which rolled into the river and got lost. He had also given them some herbs, which they mixed with water to make the first ever tea! They thought the tea was a magic potion and they helped fight against the Romans and saved the little village in Britain.

Very nice story about Asterix, Obelix and Asterix’s cousin in Britain. Asterix’s cousin gives Asterix and Obelix a tour of Britain on the way to Asterix’s Cousin’s village they were going to give the chief of Asterix’s cousin the magic potion but when got there they realized that they had forgotten the barrel of magic potion then Asterix remembered he had the ingredients for the potion will he be able to make it? I would recommend this book to someone else.

It is very good because it is funny. My favourite character is Asterix. My favourite bit is when Oberlix is in the tower of London with Disposamaniax. Obelix said "I'm going to get out of here" and Disposamaniax said "poor man. He's gone bonkers" and Obelix managed to break out of the jail. I would really recommend this book and want to read more about Asterix.

This book was really funny. I liked it when Oberlix went to prison and he said ‘ I have a mouth like sandpaper, we must get out of here’, before breaking out. The drawings were great. I also liked the sound effects for when they got punched. I think my friend would like this book.
