"Liar and Spy" was an interesting book, with the main character, George, moving house. He sees a sign for a 'spy meeting' and writes on the sign asking what time the meeting will start. To his surprise, someone writes back on the sign when the meeting will start...

An intersting book. It definetly had a plot twist at the end. The end is definetly worth reading!

I really enjoyed this book because Safer is setting up a spy club to track the mystery Mr X who is apparently a really mean guy. Is this a joke or real?

Hello everyone, I have read this book so many times, and it is amazingly super! It is amazing! Because Safer pretends that there is a mystery Mr x who carries around ten people in his suitcases.

I thought the book was ok but that it wasn't the best book in the world. The plot wasn't very good because everything was fake. My favourite character was Candy because I thought she knew her own mind and wasn't afraid to stand up to her brother safer.

I would recommend this to someone who likes mystery and adventure. It looks at bullying and how a person can react, fitting in to a new place, and friendships. There are some twists in the story, which leads you to think it's not going to be a happy ending. I like not knowing what comes next, and the different characters.

This book is full of mystery and suspense. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes spying and mystery. The whole book is about Safer and a new boy who has just moved into a flat near Safer trying to find out about a mysterious man. Will they find out or will it still be a mystery. This book is for 9 or 10 year olds. If you liked this book tell me about in a comment and like this if you found it useful!!!!!!!

This book is really good. I would recommend for 10+ as younger people may not find it interesting. i rated it 4 stars because it was fun and realistic and really shocked me (in a good way). I hope you read this book and i heard it won an award. Enjoy!

This book is funny ,page -turning and it perfectly describes life as a teenage boy going through the transition of his father losing his job, never seeing his mum and trying to just live a wonder-filled life as he makes a interesting new friend. I hope that who ever is reading it next enjoys it like how I did.

I liked it a lot. The plot was cool, but it got a bit boring near the middle.

this book all starts when georges ( silent s) moves house and when he goes down to the basement, he sees a sign that says 'spy club' and when his dad writes the time..... i would recommend liar and spy to children who are 9-11 years old and, in my opinion, rebecca stead is a great author.
