This was a captivating book, drawing me into the world which Cassandra Clare has created. I loved the characters (especially Jem and Magnus), and I found myself laughing and crying when the characters did, just wanting the best for them. I would recommend this book series or author to a fantasy lover, or even someone who is wanting to get into fantasy as a genre, as this Urban Fantasy is easy to get into, and the plot catches your attention.

I enjoyed this book because it was a great second book in a series.

I love how Cassie Clare uses the poem before each chapter! This book really makes my eyes on the book every second!

Brilliant book about Shadowhunters, set in the Victorian Era. Will Tessa Gray chose Jem Carstairs or Will Herringdale?
