The characters almost stole the queen's crown. I also liked it when gangsta granny told lies to her grandson about the jewels and then in the end she told him that she actually stole them.

I love David Walliams books. He is so funny. I enjoyed this book because it made me laugh a lot and i liked that the person who did the crime was not who you expected it to be.

I liked this book- it teaches you not to judge old people , you never know how great your grand parents can be . It also teaches you not to steal as you get caught by the police

I liked this book because its very funny and interesting. Its about a boy called Ben and his grandmother. He believes his Granny is boring at first until she told him that she was a jewel thief ! They tried to steal crown jewels from the Tower of London but surprisingly when they were about to drill the glass open, the queen said " Please don't .." She said they don't need to go to jail. Then his granny says that she is not actually a thief !! Mr. Parker, the neighbourhood watch leader overheard Ben and Granny talking about their plan to steal the jewels and mistakenly believes that they actually stole them ! He calls the police but they don't believe him and eventually Ben and his Granny are set free. I recommend this book for 9 plus year children.

I liked this book because it is about granny being a gangsta. This book is not very scary and funny. Ithink this book would be a good book for other people. My favroite part was when she got into her meble and went to steal stuff.

I liked the story. My favourite character was Granny. My favourite part of the story was when Ben and Granny get caught by the Queen dressed in her dressing gown and slippers. I would recommend this book!

I liked that Ben hated to stay at his granny's house but after he found out that granny was a gangsta he loved to stay at her house. Gran stole loads of jewels from others and showed Ben them and explained how she got some of them. Gran also had a nosey neighbour called Mr. Parker. The characters I liked best were: Gran, Ben and the Queen. I would recommend this book to people who like fictional stories about stealers, burglars,robbers and gangstas. David Williams is funny and he tells a great story, I love his books so much!
