Fun fantasy adventure, as you would expect with this writer's pedigree! The fantasy of being alive in a book/books. The possibilities are endless. A good and enjoyable twisting turning plot.....

I would recommend this book to people who like fantasy and adventure. My favourite part was when the main characters first met the Wind Witch and she cast a spell on some books. Will was my favourite character because he always tried to be brave and protect his friends.

I enjoyed this a lot, this is a scary book. I loved how there was a stone statue that can move.. but it ended up being much more than a statue. This is a good book for older children.

I thought this was one of the most intense books I’ve ever read because the kids are immensely brave, strong and smart to always find a way to overcome the obstacles in their way. I thought that all three of them were very brave in their own ways (Cordelia performing a role a doctor would do, Nell for writing the things to save them in the magical book that the other two couldn’t handle and Brendan for protecting his sisters throughout the whole time. If it was fiction my favourite person would be Nell because although she was dyslexic she managed to save her brother and sister that couldn’t handle the magic book. She was also very brave to go down to the warriors because her older brother and sister were both too afraid to go. If this was was factual then I would find this interesting because they managed to battle the deadly pirates, the bloodthirsty warriors and even a bone-crunching giant. But then even battle against the insane witch and her father. I would definitely recommend this book for everyone because it is intense, addictive and adventurous. It makes you feel like you have really entered another world.

It was very intense because every step of the way on of them could’ve gotten really badly injured. But at the end Nell managed to save them even though she is dyslexic. It really shows that no matter what condition you have or what might be in your path, here is always a way of overcoming them. My favourite person was Nell because, she was the youngest but she had most of the courage and was very brave. If it was factual it would've interested me because it would then show how responsible and brave children can actually be. I would 100% recommend this to someone.
