Darcy Burdock: Hi So Much.
Laura Dockrill
Ten-year-old Darcy sees the extraordinary in the everyday and the wonder in the world around her. This second book sees Darcy move-up to Big School – and all of a sudden EVERYTHING changes. Her best friend Will isn’t sure he should talk to girls anymore, her new teacher may in actual fact be a cauldron-bubbling witch and, horror of horrors, her precious pet Lamb-Beth goes missing. Can Darcy face these challenges head-on, armed only with her curious, whip-smart mind and eye for a story?
Joyous drawings, colourful characters and a high-energy voice – the Darcy Burdock books are packed with personality from start to finish.
Reviews
I really liked the story about the spiders. Darcy was a horrible friend to Will, though.

I don’t really like the book because it had too many big words. I like Darcy Burdock’s character because she was a lovely person and she loved lamb-Beth. I did not like some of the handwriting font, but I liked the stories that she wrote.

I thought this book was very entertaining . I thought the part where Darcy found out about The Mighty Sandwich and told you all the ingredients to make it. If the book was fiction I would like Darcy because she is very imaginative person. If the book was factual I would like Darcy's mum because she is always telling the truth. I would recommend this to someone who has a big imagination.
