The witch was a bit scary, but I enjoyed reading the description of the gingerbread house. It made me a bit hungry!

This was difficult to read but I enjoyed it. I liked the part where they had to exercise.

I like the story much better than the old story of Hansel and Gretel. I like the part where the father puts a donut trail on the path to make them go outside and the part where the witch catches them and makes them do lots of exercise.

I think this book is not really good because it does have a twist but it still is the same story I think the people who like to change traditional fairy tales would love this book
