Thirteen boys. Twelve dead. One survives. For now . . .

Adam was born at the stroke of midnight at the start of a new millennium. He is the target of a cult who believe boys born at that time must die before the end of their thirteenth year. Twelve boys have been killed so far.

Coron, the crazed cult leader, will stop at nothing to bring in his new kingdom. And now he is planning a bombing spectacular across London to celebrate the sacrifice of his final victim . . .

Thirteen is the first in an explosive thriller duology from Tom Hoyle. Read on with the action-packed Spiders. Perfect for fans of Michael Grant and Robert Muchamore.

Overall, this is a great book. I loved it and as a result, I have taken out all other three Tom Hoyle books. My favourite character is Adam and he is a brave and courageous character. My favourite part of the book is when Megan is pressured and nearly tortured for the answers of where Adam was, but gave the answers when it was said that 2 young children would be sacrificed. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for a thriller style book. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
