Small was feeling grumpy and unloved. Small's mother proved how much she loved small by reassuring the little fox that she would love him no matter what. Small's mother was my favourite character as she reassured Small that grumpy or not she would always love him. I would recommend the book as it teaches the reader about unconditional love.

I think this book is good because it teaches me that love is more important than anything. I like large which is the little boys mummy. I recommend this to other people because I think it will teach them the exact same thing it taught me.
