Alfie Small and his dog go on an adventure. They meet different characters along the way, including serpents and scarecrows. It's an exciting book and I really liked all the characters.

At first I thought the serpent was scary but it was actually a nice serpent but his skin was too tight which made him angry!

This book was quite funny because it had a really ugly scarecrow in the story, and it was quite strange that Alfie and Jed were flying in the air at the end.
