I liked it because Elmer thought of a good idea. I didn’t think the elephants would say yes, because they are usually mean, but they did and I liked this. I didn’t enjoy the catchers spotting them, but I was happy when the elephants landed on them!

If i was one of the hunters i would focus on finding the elephants first. My favourite character is Elmer because he has loads of colours on him and the other elephants are just grey.

I like how Elmer finds a solution to a problem. The story is however very simple and I would like it to be longer. It is a good read though.

it was good because the elephants landed on the hunters and pushed them down into the deep mud and never came back to the island again, this was my favourite part. I would recommend this book

I enjoyed reading this book. Elmer was clever to come up with the plan to protect the other elephants from the elephant hunters. He used Stilts for this plan.
