This is a good book. I enjoyed it and I am excited to read the books ahead. This book is about the fifth form at a school called Malory Towers trying to come up with the Christmas entertainment, completely on their own, from scratch! They did a play called Cinderella. The girl who is the main role is called Mary-Lou.

My favourite character is Janet because we both like sewing. This book is about a group of girls who go to boarding school and did a pantomime of Cinderella and the competition is fierce for the standing role. I would recommend this book to all girls of any age.

The play is my favourite bit of this Malory Towers book. I find it interesting how the girls try to produce the play and all their arguments. It's very hard because Moira is always angry. Also, Gwendolyn and Maureen both want to play the main part but little Mary-Lou ends up getting the starring role.

I thought this book was amazing!Meet Maureen who thinks she is Gwen's friend but actually she is annoying Gwendoline and Gwendoline’s mother invited her over for the holidays.While this was happening The fifth form were to put on a show for the rest of the school and parents.They chose to do a pantomime and it was going to be Cinderella.Darrell and Sally wrote it while their other friends were helping to do other fun stuff.You will love this book. I give it five stars.
