This was a really funny and exciting novel. My favourite character was Mr Whisper because he knew exactly how to scare Jack, and he was the first monster to properly scare him in years, which was a very good achievement. But my favourite part was the part where Bernard became super-charged, but I won't write about that anymore because I don't want to give away any spoilers to people who are reading or are going to read this incredible book in the future. I recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys monsters and adventurous surprises.
