Tuffy doesn’t feel wanted at home any more. His owners just don’t appreciate him. So what if he broke the new TV? Got fur on all Dad’s clean clothes? Ate Tinkerbell the kitten’s special kitten-food? All accidents! But they’re making such a fuss!
So Tuffy decides to make a break for it. He bids farewell to the gang – Snowball, Tiger and Bella – and runs away. But starting a new life isn’t easy, and soon Tuffy starts to wonder if he’s made a terrible mistake . . .

My favourite character was Tuffy because I like cats. I loved when he found his perfect home. I would recommend this book!

I like it when he ran away and got given the name Pusskins and I thought that the cat chorus song was very funny. This book really made me laugh.

There's a cat called tuffy and he didn't like the new baby so he runs away and he went through a neighbours garden then he was singing for food and money

My favourite character in this book was Tuffy (the killer cat) because he was very funny. I'm going to look for some other books by the same author.

It's a good and funny book. My favourite character is the Killer Cat because he is funny. I like the ending when he realises he's better off where he started. I would recommend this book to others.

There are loads of things I liked! I liked the part where they had a pet day at the girls school and it was funny when Tuffy said goodbye to the piano, the clock and the saucer.
