This book had action and suspense because beans’ dad was kidnapped by two kidnappers. the reason why is because beans’ dad invented a device that could be used to get lots of money. Soon, the kidnappers find out. I like beans because she and her friends Louisa and Ann tried their best to save bean’s dad. They are given spy kits that could be used to save dad and send the kidnappers to the jail.

I think that this book was a great mystery and I thought that Detective Warner was a great disguise I did suspect something but I didn't expect Detective Warner was one of the kidnappers. I thought Beany, Anne and Louise were very clever when they were tracking Beany's dad down with all the clues they found. I really enjoyed this book. It was really satisfying when they found out who the kidnappers really were. I recommend this book to people who love a good mystery. I enjoyed it very much.

I really liked this book!! At first I was worried about Beans, then I was excited as I followed the story!! My favourite character was Ann, one of Beans' friends. I would recommend this book!

This book was AWESOME! I highly recommend it.It was all about Beans(short for Beatrice)and her friends and they find out that Beans's dad has been kidnapped!!One of the kidnappers called Lucas Warner discusses himself as Detective Warner and gets most of the information out of Beans and her friends.They almost get away with it but when Mr Warner takes a visit with his fellow kidnapper Lucas Moynahan disguised as Sergeant Paxwell Beans realises they're up to something…They end up locked in the shed Beans's dad used for his inventions they attract one of the neighbours with noise the two men are caught and Beans's dad comes back safely.I am going to be looking out for Malorie Blackman.

I like the book because there is a lot of tension and suspense so you don’t get bored. My favourite character is Beans because she is a hero and is brilliant at solving mysteries. I would recommend it because it’s a entertaining and when you read it, it makes you eager to find out more!

It was a great book full of adventure and fun. I like Detective Warner, this book is fiction. I would recommend it to my friend Owen.It interested me because I like the genre of mystery.

In this book I like how you have to find clues and solve a mystery. The person I like the most is Bean because she never gives up and keeps on going. Yes I would recommend it to somebody else.
