James Bond has discovered danger. Now it’s come looking for him. An Eton boy’s family disappears at sea. James uncovers a shadowy society operating in a hidden corner of the school. And far from England, in the bandit-infested interior of Sardinia, a sinister Italian count has built himself a mountain fortress. Is there a connection?

This was just as good as Silverfin. Different characters. I couldn't put it down. My mum and dad have read the books too. We all love them.

I think this is the best book I have read this summer. My favourite character was Peter Haight because throughout the whole book you didn't realise who the second man was till the end. I recommend this book to my friend because of how he liked the Alex rider series.

It is very exciting because near the end they blow up a dam which creates a tidal wave which destroyed the bad guys palazzo. My favourite character is James Bond.

Not much to say about this book. A magnificent sequel to the first book of the series. The characters are great wacky and you really get to know them. I especially like zoltan, as he murders steals and helps James's rival though is still helping James to the very end.

This book was about a boy named James Bond who would always get in danger and be inches away from death. This book is fiction but always makes me think it's true because of the description they use in this book. I would recommend this book for 10 year olds because of the rudeness and violent action .

I genuinely think that this book applies the basic skills of a good book: suspense , action and intricate detail which enhances the high standards in which it already possesses . Three cheers for Charlie Higson! 00awesome!

A great book and without a doubt my favourite in this series. The Young Bond series by Charlie Higson is about James Bond as a teenager. this particular book follows the young Eton pupil as he travels to sardinia on a school trip. All is normal until his best friends family goes missing. A brilliant, Action packed book which any spy and adventure lover aged 12+ would enjoy.
