I really enjoyed this book because I like stories about dragons. My favourite character is Firedrake, he breathes blue fire and is brave. One of my favourite parts of this book is when the Professor saves Firedrake from the Basilisk.

I enjoyed this story and really liked the author’s use of their imagination. I got completely lost in this book.

I really like this fiction book because Sorrel is a very exciting character that looks like a cat goddess. I recommend this book to 9 year old, adventurous children.

I loved this book! I like the tension, twists and turns and best of all, my favourite fantasy creature is the dragon! I would definitely recommend this to a fantasy lover!

I liked Dragon Rider because it's really good and I'd recommend this to people who like adventure and fantasy. It's really good and you will like it because it isn't not that good. I liked Firedrake best and its all about an adventure

Dragon Rider is the second book I’ve read this summer by Cornelia Funke. The three main characters set off on a journey to find a safe home for the last of the dragons. I enjoyed the characters, and the storyline, but I would have preferred more description to set the scene.

I thought that it was a really good and interesting book. I liked Sorrel the brownie the best out of all of the characters. I would definitely recommend it to someone else.

I was worried about the dragons as there were bad people trying to hurt them. The book was very exciting. I couldn't put it down!
