I really like this book and my favourite part is when Darrell smacked Gwendoline in the face. I liked Darrell because she sometimes loses her temper like my. I would recommend it to my dad who likes adventure books and especially if they are thick like this book.

This book is a fun exciting book about a girl who has a temper and a girl who is spoilt who trys to get Darrell into trouble but never succeeds.

This book is a good start to the Malory towers series. It's humorous, adventurous, mysterious and loads of other things! I would recommend this book to anyone ( mostly girls) aged 7-10. I hope anyone who reads this book will enjoy it!

Its a very good book, its very different to most other school books by having the main character as more rude or mischievous but its very funny and a great read.
