Paddington Takes the Air
Michael Bond, Peggy Fortnum
The irresistible Paddington Bear, who was found on Paddington station, returns in this reissued novel, with an updated cover design.
‘I do wish I could see into Paddington’s mind,’ said Mrs Brown, ‘I know something’s going on. I can recognise the signs.’ And there is plenty of cause for concern when Paddington takes an interest in detective work. Not to mention sewing and ballroom dancing! Stories of Paddington Bear have delighted children all over the world for fifty years.Reviews

I thought it was very funny especially when Paddington drops his marmalade sandwich down Mrs Smith-Chomelys back. I liked Mrs Bird because she has something to say about everything. I would recommend it to anyone.

It was funny, I liked the chapter where Paddington was dancing with a lady and dropped a marmalade sandwich down her dress and people thought she was dancing but she was trying to get the sandwich out!
