Daisy Dawson on the Farm
Steve Voake, Jessica Meserve
It’s a barnyard full of summer fun and mischief for Daisy and her animal friends in this fifth Racing Reads adventure.
The weather is hot, hot, hot and the farm animals are getting grumpy: the pigs are arguing with the chickens and the ducks and newts are sad because their pond has dried up. Can Daisy and her animal friends find a way to make it rain, bringing water back to the pond and happiness back to the farmyard?

I think it was real. I liked Meadowsweet best because she told Daisy to never give up. The sad thing was because the poor ducks and newts lost their pond. I thought the weather was very naughty because it WOULD rain if you DON'T want it to and it WON'T rain if you DO want it to. The fun bit was when Daisy and the animals start a Farm Afternoon. It interested me because I didn't know an ice-cool dance . The cats were very helpful because they magically made the rain come by saying, " Because the world know that cats don't like water. And the sky has smiled upon us and said, "I shall not rain upon the wise and wonderful cats, because they are so fabulously great."" The most amazing thing was that Daisy can understand animals and can speak to them. Then, finally, Daisy (and the cats and animals) made the rain come again! It was a very, very great and fun book. You must get it and read it to yourself!
