My Friend The Enemy. When Peter is in the forest, a German plane crashes on the field. He meets a friend, Kim, who, despite many people's thoughts, is a girl. They saw the pilots parachute and they went to investigate. They find a sick, injured airman in the forest but, as they can’t speak much German, they find it hard to communicate. I loved this book as I loved the part when the reader had to guess what the german was saying. Peter is my favourite character as he is brave and courageous. I rate this book 5 stars

This was really informative about what it was like during WW2 and it goes to show not all Germans at that time were Nazis.

OMG! This book had me wanting to read in a single sitting -which I almost did! grab a box of tissues because towards the end it gets awfully emotional. This is definitely on my list of favourites and I hope that many-a-futre reader will enjoy this jem as much as I did; I would recomend this to kids age 9+. Happy Reading!

Vey good, and so are the books near the back cover, about a german who crash lands and is on the loose...only Peter and his new friend Kim can save the german, but how long will it take before Peter can be persuaded to help?...Too long?
