Honestly, blowing up another school was the last thing I wanted to do. As the son of a Greek god, I’ve had my share of near-death disaster. This summer, I didn’t choose to battle the cheerleading squad, but when two hissing she – devils with fangs are heading straight for you, what’s a half-blood meant to do? That was just the beginning.

the legendary battle between old enemies looms nearer Greatly suspending and a drama over-load.

This was a very good book ; furthermore, it was an amazing continuing to the third book in the series. My favourite character was Percy, as always, as he is very brave and the main character, and he is the son of the sea God, Posiedon. I would definetly recommend this to children around 9 as it is a bit of an older children's book and it is very exciting.

It was an amazing book and I couldn't put it down. My favourite character was Anabeth because she heard the prophecy that she was going to die if she led the quest but she did it anyway which was really brave. In the end she didn't die. I went on holiday and saw lots of Roman statues in a museum in Florence and reading this book helped me understand some of the stories behind the statues. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes history and myths.

I really enjoyed this book!!! It was interesting seeing how Nico became the cute little myth-o-magic kid, to being the dark, goth boy we know now, though it was quite painful and sad. One thing that annoyed me was Minos' ghost, who kept putting bad ideas into Nico's brain, but I LOVED the part where Nico went all bad-a** and said he was the king of ghosts/ghost king, and wouldn't be controlled by the ghosts/ghosts wouldn't control him. Another thing was seeing Daedalus/Quintius interact with the characters and then the big reveal to find out that... well, read the books and find out!
