Lizzie Zipmouth
Jacqueline Wilson, Nick Sharratt
‘Why don’t you ever say anything, Lizzie?’ said Rory. ’It’s like you’ve got a zip across your mouth’. Lizzie refuses to speak. She doesn’t want to talk to Rory or Jake, her new stepbrothers, or Sam, their dad or even her mum. She’s totally fed up at having to join a new family and nothing can coax her into speaking to them.

This book was different to anything else I had read before, it had some sad bits. I felt sorry for Lizzie to start with, but things got better in the end.

I think u should read this book because the main charecter Lizzie uses her insinks and infers it really gives a strong message.

This book is quite good. Lizzie is going to get a step-dad, but she doesn't want one so she stops speaking, but her "sort-of step-great-gran" helps her. It is a nice, shorter read.

This is a great book but it is a it small. I liked Lizzie and Rory the best in this book. I read this book in one day. It is just so good to read.

This book is very moving. It is quite a small book but it's great if you want something easier to read.My favourite character is of course Lizzie. What I like about Jacqueline Wilson books is that the book is like a friend and says,"I understand".Jacqueline Wilson writes about problems children go through today. Writing style:It's Jacqueline Wilson writing style so really good.5/5 Stars. Creativity:5/5 Stars. Characters:The main character is Lizzie and we see the story from her point of view.5/5 Stars. A wonderful moving story.
