The Diamond Girls
Jacqueline Wilson, Nick Sharratt
Dixie is the youngest of the Diamond family. She and her sisters, dreamy Martine, glamorous Rochelle and tough Jude, could hardly be more different from each other but their Mum’s tried to teach them the value of sticking together. Now Mum’s expecting yet another baby and she’s convinced this one’s a boy.
Reviews

The character I like best is Dixie as she helps people and she made a friend called Mary and she looks after her mum's baby.

It was a good book about always believing in yourself

The person I like best is Dixie and her imagination . There was a person who I wasn't to keen on, Mary's mum . I didn't like how she wasn't very nice to Mary and through teddy in the bin. She also clipped her nails back so far that her fingers were red raw.

This book is sad but funny at the same time. Dixie and her 3 sisters have to manage while their mum has gone to hospital for the new baby. Will they be able to make it look wonderful, in time before their mum comes home? Read this book to find out!

This is a really fabulous and exotic book. I recommend this because the words just come off the page and you can imagine and believe it like its real. It FEELS real if you read it. You imagine the characters as if they're right next to you. Jacqueline Wilson is a natural storyteller....I LOVE her books!

There is a lot of drama in this book but it's really about a family and how, although they fight and argue, will always be together through thick and thin.
