I liked the funny grasshopper and the way it sang. I would recommend this book.

It was a good book, it was about a grasshopper and some ants. The ants were gathering food for the winter and the grasshopper didn't because he was busy playing his music, and when it came to the time he didn't have any food and the ants wouldn't give him any. There was a little ant who saved him and exchanged food for him to teach her how to play the fiddle. Soon everyone wanted to join in and it had a happy ending as they made a choir.

I really like this book because there are ants and a grasshopper who sing songs; I like insects because they are part of nature. I would recommend it because I love it!

I gave this book a 4/5 because it was a very funny rhyming book to read. My favourite character was Jeremy (the main character) because he was very funny (especially his songs!!!) and made me laugh! I would recommend this book to anyone.
