I enjoyed this more than the first one, especially the bit with the robber.

I think the book is adventurous and interesting. I liked Peter the best because he was brave. I would recommend this book to children aged 8-10

The story is about 7 children and a dog called 'Scamper' who are a part of a secret society called 'The Secret Seven'. They met at the old shed and decided to look for a mystery. Jack came across a car towing a van near a very old house which had a horse locked inside and 2 men were speaking in low voices which looked fishy. He told others about this van and they all decided to investigate. They split into two groups and tried to find more information. Then they went to the old house where they found that the squealing voice was coming from the cellar. Two of them sneaked inside and found the horse there called 'Kerry Blue', suddenly the two men came and locked the children inside the cellar. So Colin and George went in and rescued their friends as well as the horse. On the next day police was informed and Kerry Blue went back to its owner.
