If you like Dark mystery's, twists , evil fiction and books full of action then you will really enjoy this book . This Read is packed with tense in every chapter and [ when reading it ] made me unable to put it down. I totally recommend this read to fans of the skulduggery books. Age to read this book is 9+.

This is the fourth book in the Skulduggery Pleasant series. Dark Days is about an assassin called Dreylan Scarab who has been released from prison. He groups together some villiains: such as Springheeled Jack, Vaurian Scapegrace, Remus Crux, the vampire Dusk and Billy-Ray Sanguine, his son. They all have people who they want to take revenge on. Meanwhile, Valkyrie Cain, formerly known as Stephanie Edgeley, is trying to retrieve her detective partner and best friend Skulduggery Pleasant from the gate of the Faceless Ones. Does she do it? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK!! I think others should read the book (and the whole series)because its full of adventure, mystery,murders and plots to destroy...ENJOY READING IT!

Stories normally end well not this one. Skulduggery is sucked into a portal. Valkyrie goes to rescue him. The revengers club is setting off a bomb. they want to kill 80,000 mortals. Fletcher (Valkyries boyfriend) stops this from happening by teleporting to a quiet place.
