This is a fiction book My favourite character was Albert. He is Joey's (the horse) 2nd owner. I liked him because when Joey went out to war he applied to go to war mainly to find him and be united with his favourite horse. I would definitely recommend reading especially if you have not seen the movie. There were many details that was missed out in the movie which I enjoyed reading in this book

It was excellent and I really liked Joey. He was a horse and a character during the whole book.I now feel like reading Farm Boy (the sequel) too.

I love horses and this intrigued me because it was a horses point of view from war and I found that so interesting as so many horses die in the war and so many are taken and it explained why

I don’t really know why but I really wish Joey could talk because then he could tell Albert about Topthorn.

This book was quite scary but had a happy ending. it had sad bits but it always ended with a happy bit. The main character was a horse called joey who got sold to be in the calvary but then gets lost and has an adventure.

War Horse By Michael Morpurgo War Hose was an emotional, thrilling and exhilarating read full of drama. It is about a farm horse who gets sent away to France to become a war horse during WW1 (the great war). He faces great challenges and terrors though what he longs for most is to see his true master, Albert, again I would totally recommend this book for anyone aged between 10 and 13 Overall, I rate this book 9/10
