This book is about a kind man who has a very greedy brother. He discovers a secret cave, and after his brother does. Bandits guard the cave and kill anyone they know that comes in. Will Ali Baba be safe from the bandits...? I'm not sure who my favourite character is. I would recommend this book to people who like exciting stories, age 6 plus.

I enjoyed this story. My favourite part was when Marjanna put hot oil in the jars to kill the thieves. Marjanna was a clever character. I would recommend this story to anyone that likes to read about scary characters. This book was also very gruesome because Ali baba's brother was cut into pieces and then sewn back together again.

I liked Ali Baba the best, because he is really kind. I liked the maid because she poured olive oil onto 39 of the soldiers! I didn’t like Ali Baba’s brother because he was mean and greedy.

I think it's a good book because it teaches you not be greedy and rich. It teaches you to be kind like Ali Baba. The story was short so I would have liked it even more if the story carried on for a little bit longer and would have been more interesting. I would recommend this book for anyone who likes reading short stories.
