This is an enthralling book as one of the Famous Fives' newly made friends disappear. It is interesting the way that he is rescued. I would definitely recommend this book.

A little different to the other books in the series, but still lots of interesting characters and a good ending!

I would recommend this book to my friends because two RAF piolets are kidnapped and their planes stolen. The five find the piolets and the piolets were ok apart from a broken ankle.

My favourite character is Jeff because he was so enthusiastic. I think that the famous five are very responsible and bold.

Because it has just the most good characters and it's really funny; plus there's suspects and they go away and you just don't know who is the criminal until the end!

In the book, the five children are trying to solve a mystery. Two planes have been stolen and people don't know if the pilots are traitors or if someone else has done it. I like the book because it was adventurous and exciting.
