I personally think it wasn't very exciting but maybe that's because after I'd read it I found out it wasn't the first in the series. You should read the series and tell me if you thought it was exciting!

Because it is all about monsters and how Nick, Laurie, Jules and the Grace children solve the mystery of the wrym king. If you have loved watching or reading the spiderwick chronicles, then you will love this!
